Beware those who offer you wealth and fame to renounce your faith.

On July 4, a "Christian" social media co asked me to join their site. Later, they said they would like to have me, as a Catholic podcaster, join their team. They then asked me to sign a legal document stating that the Bible, alone is the sole authority, and that I must submit to them, the owners/staff of the company, on matters of doctrine and scriptural interpretation. After explaining that to do so would be to renounce my Catholic faith, as Jesus gave that authority only to His Church, they decided they did not want me on their team. Anti-Catholicism and "the oath" are alive and well in 2025. Ironically, the site has "Acts" in its name... apparently they haven't read the book of Acts.
